Barry D. Todd serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Invicta Financial Group, an independent financial services firm. Under his leadership, Invicta Financial Group is dedicated to providing clients with full service, holistic planning through disciplined, long-term, and trust-driven relationships.
Mr. Todd spent the first 21 years of his career leading and shaping soldiers as an Army Ranger where he earned the prestigious Order of St. Maurice, Order of St. Michael and numerous awards and medals for conspicuous gallantry and leadership. He has continued to serve this community as a civilian and was inducted into the Distinguished Member of the Rangers in 2023 for his exceptional contributions and dedication.
After leaving active duty, Barry joined the financial industry as an adviser and set records for his personal production and leadership, earning many awards for his service to clients. He continued to learn and grow, and his commitment to servicing clients better caused him to found his own company, Invicta Financial Group in 2008. Since then, the company continues to grow, almost tripling in size in the last ten years
Mr. Todd is also the best-selling author of Stand Your Ground: One Mans Self-Defense Nightmare which is a personal memoir and critique of how the legal system handles self-defense claims. Barry’s story, told in his first-person experience, reads like a suspense novel and showcases the perseverance, courage, honor, and the emotional & financial impact that defending yourself places on individuals and families.
Mr. Todd is deeply committed to service and philanthropy. He serves as Chairman of the Defense Resources Foundation, supporting individuals facing wrongful indictment, and previously served as President of the National Ranger Memorial Foundation, which maintains the National Ranger Memorial at Fort Benning, Georgia, and provides scholarships for Army Ranger families.
Barry is deeply committed to his faith in Jesus Christ. Humbly, he tries to lead with Integrity, Discipline and Compassion while keeping his faith the center of his life surrounded by his family and friends. He has been married to is devoted wife Cissi for over 40 years and together they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
Mr. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Troy State University and a Master of Science in Business Administration from William Carey University. His professional credentials include the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) Designation, as well as licenses in Series 65, Life and Health Insurance, and Property and Casualty Insurance.
