2023 Operation Give Back

In its second year, Operation Give Back selected the San Diego Blood Bank as its 2023 recipient. This December several Invicta team and Board members delivered a $2,500 to the Sabre Springs Donor Center located in Poway, CA.

During this delivery, we learned that our donation would be used in their fundraising efforts to purchase a new $650,000 bloodmobile.

These bloodmobiles are vital in the collection of blood donations across San Diego County as more than half of the 150,000 units of blood collected annually come from mobile blood drives.

Our timing for this donation could not have been better as the San Diego Blood Bank received a generous grant that would match dollar-for-dollar their donations received. So, our $2,500 donation will be matched to make it a $5,000 donation!

Our team members were deeply impacted during our visit on the impact blood donations make in a community. In fact, just one blood donation can impact up to 3 people.
